The wood-frame house on Avis Road in Springfield Township didn’t draw any attention and could have passed a visual inspection by the building department.But neighbors said the home had been abandoned for nearly four years and was a disaster inside.“The structure was in good shape, there were no windows busted out or any other signs of vandalism,” said Patricia Ryan, the planning and economic development administrator for Springfield.
