BROOKFIELD - Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a bank robbery at the Newtown Savings Bank on Federal Road this morning. Police said the robbery occurred just prior to 9 a.m. this morning and that no weapon was shown by the robber. The individual fled from the scene and authorities have police dogs in the area tracking the suspect. Police are still actively investigating the scene of the robbery. dperrefort@newstimes.com
