Target Exec To Uber, Amazon Part-timers, Big Sec Payout

Target exec to Uber, Amazon part-timers, big SEC payout Target’s chief marketing officer is leaving the company and heading to Uber. Jeff Jones is leaving the retail giant to become Uber’s first president, in charge of operations, marketing and customer support. Jones joined Target as head of marketing in 2012 and had been part of the chain’s campaign to reinvent itself, particularly focusing on digital operations. The former executive was paid after Monsanto agreed to an $80 million settlement with the regulatory agency over revenue tied to its weed killer Roundup. Stuart Meissner, the former Monsanto employee’s attorney, confirmed the payment Tuesday but did not identify the tipster.
