Task Force Hopes To Unite All Of Tupelo

By Rod Guajardo Daily Journal TUPELO – Tupelo resident Rashni Barath’s story of how and why she chose to call the All-America City home embodies the goal of the newly formed community outreach task force. Barath, who now works with Trustmark National Bank, was born in Durban, South Africa, and called Tupelo home for two years before moving to Canada. “At first I thought, ‘Oh my goodness, we’re going to Mississippi,’ and we were very worried,” Barath said, fighting back tears.
