Fox News Channel has terminated the contracts of paid contributors and potential 2012 candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum, a spokesman for the network confirmed to CNN. Contracts for the former House Speaker and former Pennsylvania senator were suspended until May 1 while they considered runs for the White House in 2012. It's Over For Fox's 'The Good Guys'

Fox is not officially confirming yet but it is as final as it gets: The Good Guys won't be returning for a second season. Fox originally picked up Matt Nix's cop dramedy straight-to-series for a summer run. In May, before the show had premiered, the network ordered additional episodes and put it on the fall schedule to air on Fridays.

'24' Canceled: Fox Ending Show After Current Season

The drama "24" won't be ticking much longer on TV. Fox announced Friday that its action-packed real-time show starring Kiefer Sutherland as anti-terrorism agent Jack Bauer will wind down at the end of its current eighth season on May 24.

Sutherland said in a statement that the show's cast and crew "always wanted '24' to finish on a high note, so the decision to make the eighth season our last was one we all agreed upon." He also said he was looking forward to creating a film version of "24."
