I saw a tweet last night from FilmSchoolReject.com, a film site, that said how the “Pocket” app’s integration with Chrome had changed his workflow. As someone who’s always looking for online tools that would improve my productivity, I was curious.
Turns out the “Read It Later” app has rebranded itself as “Pocket.” The tagline is when you find someone you like on the net, put it in your pocket. Yeah, whatever.
I spotted Google Play on Google’s header menu last week. My first reaction was what the heck is it? I clicked on it and saw a menu for Movies, Music, Books, and Apps. I took a peek at the Movies channel, noticed and liked the clean design, and left.
The design for Google Play is comparatively more gaugy than the bare-bones design of the other items on the header menu, but still simple and elegant.
Senh: I don't understand the point of iPad apps for websites. You can access the web from your iPad, and the screen is large enough that you don't have to zoom in and scroll.
