The Pussycat Doll is now the "Dancing With the Stars" champ. Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough dominated throughout the 10th season of the hit ABC show and bested Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek to win the "Dancing" crown Tuesday night.

Very minor declines aside, "Dancing with the Stars" maintained its place as Monday's most watched program by a wide margin. CBS, however, was able to rule the night in the key demographic thanks to "Big Bang Theory" and "CSI: Miami."

"Dancing With the Stars" and series-high scores for sophomore drama "Castle" carried ABC to a rather easy primetime ratings victory Monday, a night when the top scripted programs on competing networks aired in repeats.

After many weeks of Internet speculation, Dallas pilot Jake Pavelka will be the new Bachelor. ABC made the announcement on the Tuesday night live results show of Dancing With the Stars. The new season of The Bachelor begins filming in a few days and Pavelka says he's ready to meet the 25 eligible women who will be vying for his affection.

Paula Abdul may be out of a job on "American Idol" but she could soon be dancing with the stars on rival TV network ABC.
