A cardiologist who reviewed Dr. Conrad Murray’s care of Michael Jackson for the California Medical Board testified Wednesday that the physician’s treatment was riddled with egregious deviations from standard of care that contributed directly to the singer’s death.

The doctor, Conrad Murray, provided Mr. Jackson with a powerful anesthetic that was ruled a major factor in his death.

Dr. Conrad Murray was suffering financially with nearly $435,000 in judgments and liens against him over the past two years, according to court documents. Then he decided to leave his practice and work for Michael Jackson, getting paid $150,000 a month.

Law enforcement officials continue to focus on Dr. Conrad Murray as they investigate the death of Michael Jackson, raiding both the Las Vegas home and offices of Jackson’s personal physician. Sources tell TMZ investigators are searching for all medical records and documents pertaining to Jackson.
