TROY - A study by Renssealer Polytechnic Institute's Lighting Research Center found that while Apple's Night Shift app helped reduce the amount of melatonin supressed by devices such as Apple's iPad, other factors should be considered to reduce the impact the devices have on sleep.

Albany man charged with possessing, plans to distribute drugs

An Albany man was charged with possessing and intending to distribute crack, cocaine and heroin on Tuesday, according to U.S. Attorney Grant Jaquith.Dwayne G. Perkins, 37, was arraigned on the charge alleging that on April 4 he had, and planned to sell, more than 28 grams of crack, cocaine and heroin, according to the indictment.

 

AG files lawsuit over non-delivery of Niskayuna baseball photos

ALBANY — State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has filed a lawsuit against a Capital Region sports photographer accused of collecting thousands of dollars from Niskayuna parents for youth sports -league photos but never delivering them.The lawsuit alleges that Robert Dungan, doing business as GND Studios LLC and Big League Pics, took team and individual player photos for the Niskayuna baseball and softball leagues last May, but never provided the photos or refunds.
