OGDEN - About 7300 residents were left without power Friday night.Power outages were reported around 10 a.m. on the east side of Ogden by residents.Margaret Oler, spokeswoman for Rocky Mountain Power, told the Standard-Examiner that customers near the mouth of Ogden Canyon were experiencing outages due to problems with a nearby substation. Crews were dispatched to the area and are assessing the problem.It is unknown what exactly caused the blackout. According to Rocky Mountian Power's website, power is estimated to be restored by 1:30 a.m.
