STOCKTON — After logging more than 2,000 miles traveling by airplane and bus last week, Allison Silva’s fourth-grade class at Taylor Leadership Academy jumped out of their seats and sprinted across the quad towards the illuminated Golden Dome at the University of Notre Dame.It was a moment that these children from southwest Stockton have dreamed about ever since adopting Notre Dame as their college of choice."They felt (at) home," Silva said.
