While Louisville remains one of the top cities in the country for women working in technology, a new report says that the gender pay gap is widening. Last year, Louisville ranked No. 11 on SmartAsset's list of the best metros for women in tech. The city fell to No. 15 this year, despite a 21% growth in tech jobs from 2015 to 2018. According to SmartAsset's report, nearly 27% of tech jobs in Louisville are filled by women.
