CHURCH HILL — A Kingsport teen who led police in Hawkins County on a 100 mph chase only weeks after a similar Kingsport chase in which he admittedly “smoked” police, was sentenced to 15 days in jail Tuesday on his Hawkins County charges.On March 21 Gregory Alan Fletcher was charged by the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office with speeding 100 mph in a 55 mph zone, felony evading arrest, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.The Mount Carmel Police Department additionally charged Fletcher with speeding 125 mph in a 55 mph zone and reckless driving.Fletcher, 19, 1601 Harrison Avenue, Kingsport, appeared Tuesday in the Church Hill courtroom of Hawkins County Sessions Court where he pleaded guilty to the reduced misdemeanor evading arrest charge, as well as speeding and simple possession of marijuana.The HCSO speeding charge, and both MCPD charges were dismissed.Aside from the 15 days in jail, Fletcher was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days of probation and ordered to serve 96 hours of community service.On March 21 around 11:30 p.m.
