Twitter Roughly two months ago, Alec Karcher learned that his 10-year-old Boxer-Labrador mix named Cody had a severe form of bone cancer. The vet told Karcher that Cody had anywhere from one to three months to live, depending on how quickly the cancer spread. To make Cody’s last days extra special, Karcher has been ordering plain cheeseburgers from local Burger King as a daily treat for Cody. After the manager learned of Cody’s diagnosis, the store promised Karcher free cheeseburgers for Cody for the rest of his life. A local Burger King in Toledo, Ohio, is helping a terminally ill dog live out his final days with happy memories and a full stomach. Cody, a 10-year-old Boxer-Labrador mix, was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer about two months ago.
