BLOUNTVILLE — Tennessee Valley Authority officials made the agency’s long-term repair plan for Boone Dam public this past Thursday and test boring is set to begin Monday. Environmental review work is underway and expected to be completed in January — and the repair work is projected to begin immediately thereafter.The estimated $200 million to $300 million three-phase repair could take as long as seven years.
