The Texans have signed defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick to a one-year deal. The 6-foot-4, 297-pound Deaderick played in 60 games (17 starts) from 2010-14 with New England, Jacksonville and New Orleans. He recorded eight tackles in 13 games (two starts) last season with the Saints as a defensive end. Deaderick was drafted in the seventh round in 2010 out of Alabama by the Patriots.
