Texans Pro Bowl offensive tackle Duane Brown is dealing with a finger injury that won’t require surgery and he remains on track for the season-opener Sept. 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to sources with knowledge of the situation not authorized to speak publicly. Brown is out for the Texans’ third preseason game Sunday against the Saints and wasn’t expected to play in the fourth and final preseason game against the Cowboys even before injuring his finger.
