Three Big 12 Schools Linked To Documents In Federal Hoops Corruption Case

By Sean Isabella CNHI Sports A federal investigation into the underbelly of college basketball has found its way to the doorsteps of three Big 12 schools. After weeks of teasing potential damaging ramifications, Yahoo Sports released a bombshell report Friday that implicated more than 20 college programs, including Kansas, Texas and Iowa State of the Big 12. The report, which arose from the viewing of hundreds of documents, including detailed logs and expense reports, as part of a lengthy and ongoing FBI probe into the sports agency ASM, broke early Friday morning and came to a head Friday evening when Texas announced it will withhold junior guard Eric Davis, one of three Longhorns linked to the report, until an investigation is complete. “We have initiated an internal review of the recent report that included allegations involving current and former University of Texas men’s basketball players.Read more on NewsOK.com
