During its five-decade history, the AT&T Byron Nelson has earned a reputation for showcasing amateur players on the PGA Tour stage before they become household names.This year's tournament, though, will boast an amateur who needs no introduction. He is elite-level golf aspirant Tony Romo, better known as the Cowboys' record-setting quarterback-turned-soothsaying CBS NFL analyst.Romo, 38, has accepted a sponsor's exemption to play in the May 9-12 AT&T Nelson at Trinity Forest Golf Club, where he is a member."We've talked about it for years," tournament director Jon Drago said.
