The Greater Tulsa Area African-American Affairs Commission will advise Mayor G.T. Bynum and the council on matters such as identifying ways to assist black residents, instilling a better understanding of the black community, and developing programs and initiatives that promote education and employment opportunities for Tulsa's African-American residents.
