By Eriech Tapia For The OklahomanEDMOND — Councilwomen Victoria Caldwell, of Ward 1, and Elizabeth Waner, of Ward 2, won't seek another term as the city's representatives this next spring. “I have enjoyed my service to the residents of Edmond immensely and am proud of the positions I have taken and the contributions I've made," said Waner, who has been on the Edmond City Council since 2007. Waner has come to be known by many as a champion of green spaces since she started serving on the Edmond Parks and Recreation Board in 1990. The decisions to not seek reelection come as the two are looking to step back from their city duties and allow someone else to run, with both hoping prospective candidates will keep Edmond moving forward. “I am looking to invest my time in some new and interesting things,” Caldwell said.
