Two Fort Carson Soldiers Killed In Helicopter Crash During Training In California

Two Fort Carson soldiers died Saturday in a helicopter crash during training in the Southern California desert, officials said. An AH-64 Apache crashed about 1 a.m. at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin. Both soldiers killed were assigned to the 4th Infantry Division, said Maj. Gen. Randy A. George, the commander of the Colorado Springs Army post.
