WASHINGTON -- With streetscaping work nearly complete on 18th Street NW in Adams Morgan, construction crews will start reshaping a new busy corridor: U Street from 9th to 14th streets NW. On Monday, the District of Columbia's Department of Transportation will begin construction to "improve and landscape the sidewalk areas, repair the roadway, and perform upgrades to the streetlights, traffic signals and storm drains," according to the project website.
