Uber raised its average fare price on Oahu by 20 percent on Wednesday, saying the increase is the result of information the ride-hailing company gathered from a driver survey. “What we’ve heard is that drivers want the opportunity to make additional income, and with the high cost of living, Honolulu is no exception,” Uber spokesperson Taylor Patterson told Pacific Business News.
