Uihc, St. Luke’s Among Best Hospitals In State: Report

Hospitals in the Corridor rank among some of the best in Iowa, according to a new nationwide analysis.The U.S. News and World Report released its annual Best Hospitals Rankings and Ratings report this week listing hospitals and other medical centers across the country based on their performance in adult and pediatric care, taking into account factors that include “survival, patient safety, nurse staffing and more,” the report states.The report rates hospitals nationwide and within each state, and ranks the facilities by specialties, procedures and conditions, and patient experience.The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics was named as the top hospital in Iowa in the 2018-19 rankings.
