Ulster Community Action Committee Awarded $3m In Federal Funding For Head Start Programs

KINGSTON – The Ulster County Community Action Committee has been awarded $3,026,912 in federal funding for early childhood development programs.Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand announced the award from the Department of Health and Human Services on MondayThe programs will benefit 223 Head Start-eligible children and 32 Early Head Start-eligible children whose families live in Kingston, Ellenville, Plattekill and Saugerties.
