CHAMPAIGN — Checks of Champaign liquor license holders in January and February resulted in the issuance of several tickets, according to a release from the Champaign Police Department. During those two months, Champaign officers, with help from Urbana and Parkland College police, did 35 compliance checks and found four businesses that sold alcohol to minors. read more
