Union Wins Rugby Oregon Title

Continuing a tradition of success for teams from Clark County, Union won its second consecutive Rugby Oregon state championship on Saturday. A 49-38 victory over the Portland Pumas at Delta Park in north Portland earned Union the Varsity Premiership Cup and completed an unbeaten season in this region for Union. The match against the team from Central Catholic of Portland was close throughout, with Union staying a step ahead of the Pumas after taking an early 14-0 lead thanks to tries from Manu Sene and Brendon Curle.
