Holly Hardwick has done all she can to ensure a productive maple syrup season. Now it’s up to Mother Nature to determine whether this is going to be a boom or bust year. So far, it’s not looking good. “We’ve made 110 gallons of syrup so far this year,” Hardwick, who runs Northwoods Nectar in Eagle Lake, said.
