BEHIND THE CANDELABRA. 9 p.m. Sunday, HBO.
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. All 15 new episodes available Sunday on Netflix.
THE SURPRISE IN "Behind the Candelabra," HBO's new movie about the late Liberace and his onetime lover, Scott Thorson, isn't that Michael Douglas and Matt Damon pull off roles in which each is cast against type.
Microsoft believes there will be over 1 billion lifetime sales of next-generation consoles, and is also hoping to break the 100 million sales mark for Xbox 360s in the next five years.
In an interview with OXM, the company's senior vice president of Interactive Entertainment Business Yusuf Mehdi explained that the consoles' broad multimedia focus would help them transcend the sales figures traditionally seen by consoles.
"Every generation, as you’ve probably heard, has grown approximately 30%. So this generation is about 300 million units," he shared. "Most industry experts think the next generation will get upwards of about 400 million units. That’s if it’s a game console, over the next decade.

'Everyone was running over like, 'I think we lost him!' ' Diesel recalls to MTV News.By Todd Gilchrist, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
Vin Diesel on "MTV First: Fast & Furious 6"

When the title of your movie has the words "fast" and "furious" in it, it feels like injuries are inevitable. But "Fast & Furious 6" star Vin Diesel told MTV News they're extremely careful about avoiding anything that might lead to a real accident.
"If there's an injury, we already feel like we've failed a little bit as a team," Diesel said.
But the actor confessed that he did, in fact, experience his scariest moment as an actor while shooting the highly anticipated sequel.
"I'm in my Dodge Daytona, and they said, 'We want you to drive through this smoke,' " he recalled. "While I'm waiting, I'm seeing these guys pull over these huge tanks of gas and pouring them into those gas-explosion things. And I hear 'action,' and as I'm getting closer, I see flames coming out of these gas tanks. Once I get to the gas tanks, it's like two giant fireballs were shot at my car."
Although Diesel has a reputation for doing his own stunts, he admitted that this one went a little further than he was comfortable with.
"I saw all of these paramedics, I saw the fire department, and I was like, 'What are these people doing here?' " he revealed. "My equilibrium was off, because the explosions came through the window, and they wanted me to slalom a little bit when I came out like I was out of control. So I did that, and everyone was running over like, 'I think we lost him!' "

Still, co-star Paul Walker observed that there was an advantage to Diesel doing the stunt instead of another member of the ensemble cast. "With flash burns being a concern and all of that, when he pulled over, they said, 'At least it was Vin,' " he recalled of his bald-headed colleague. "Because if it was anybody else, it would have singed their hair!"
"Fast & Furious 6" arrives in theaters nationwide Friday.

The injured DJ doesn't have time to recuperate, not with so many collaborations coming down the pipe.By James Montgomery, with reporting by Sway Calloway
Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki can now do a standing backflip.
Of course, he had to tear an abdominal muscle to do it — and has had to take the stage at recent shows with his midsection tightly wrapped — though, chances are, you wouldn't know it unless he took off his shirt. Because the second he gets behind the decks, he's not feeling the injury in the slightest.
"I just got some stunt-training classes; one of the things I want to do this year is learn how to do a standing backflip and I got it down. I Vine'd it," he told MTV News at the Hangout Fest. "It destroys your abs, because you're throwing your body [backwards] and I think I tore a muscle. [But] onstage, the adrenaline always changes everything; I can be hobbling to the stage, and all of a sudden I see the crowd, I feel the music, and I swear to God, everything changes."
Of course, there's another reason Aoki's playing through the pain: He doesn't have time to be injured, not with a host of musical projects on the horizon, including another collaboration with his pal Afrojack, and a brand-new album, Neon Future.
"We're putting out a song called 'Afroki,' we're finishing putting a vocal on there, and then we're going to get it out. The vocal process takes time. I've been playing out the instrumental, " Aoki said. "And I'm playing out a ton of new stuff from my next album, Neon Future. 'Aoki Jump,' 'Boneless,' the first single, which comes out June 5. I have a collaboration with Knife Party called 'Pile Driver,' that'll be on the album too, and another record a did with Flux Pavilion, a dubstep record, that I'm playing out too."
And there's a potential team-up with radio-rock mainstays Imagine Dragons, too. Though that one may take some time seems Aoki's not the only one who's busy these days.
"I'm talking with Imagine Dragons, I love those guys, I'm a big fan. It all starts with vibing each other out, and now it's a matter of time," he said. "It's the hardest thing; everyone's on tour, everyone's got their own schedule, and I don't have time to dive into the studio. So I write the music and I send it to them, and they send me ideas, and if we have time, we go back into the studio and just knock it out."

'I think it's tough when I'm introduced as the model,' Hawley tells MTV News.By Natasha Chandel

Pretty people don't always have it easy. Just ask former "The Voice" contestant Josiah Hawley. Team Usher's resident dreamboat was eliminated on Tuesday night, along with Shakira's Kris Thomas after the two received the lowest votes of the night.
Despite season three being frontlined by powerhouse female vocalists, the model-turned-church singer faced an uphill battle because of his good looks. Coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Shakira often commented on his hair or the attention he received from the ladies over his singing, possibly resulting in fewer votes being cast. "She's basically hitting on you now," Levine told the top 10 contestant after Shakira compared him to her husband.
"I think it's tough when I'm introduced as the model," Hawley revealed to MTV News. "Automatically that makes people have assumptions and then they're viewing you in a different way. It's very difficult. As the show progressed, they were able to show more of who I am, more of just, my life."
Hawley received tough criticism on his last live performance on Monday night, taking on Coldplay's "Clocks." Levine and Shakira both felt the song was too lofty a choice for the pop rocker, although Hawley has no "regrets" about his decision, "Honestly, I feel good about the whole process. Like I'm bummed to have left the show, that's a bummer, I really enjoyed working with Usher and I really enjoyed all the people."
But you don't have to shed too many tears for Hawley. Being taken under the wing of megastar Usher has its advantages (besides Bieber concert tickets), including learning some major life lessons.
"I mean with Usher, he led by example," Hawley said, recalling his last group performance with the legend to "The Look of Love," where Usher called an extra off-hours rehearsal to ensure they were all on point, including the superstar himself, teaching the up-and-comer the value of hard work at all levels of a career.
In the end, Hawley said his music will eventually take main stage. "It's like, I look how I look and that's fine and that's great but that's not who I am. Who I am is what's inside, it's what I want to show people with my music," he said candidly.
He'll be getting his chance soon. It seems his coach has reached out to connect beyond show walls and Hawley currently has a new EP out on iTunes.
"The Voice" continues live rounds on Monday as the remaining eight contestants sing for their dreams.
