Ut To Hold John Ward Tribute On Wednesday

KNOXVILLE — Tennessee will pay tribute to “The Voice” next week at Thompson-Bowling Arena. On June 27, starting at 6 p.m., the UT athletic department and Vol Network will host an event in honor of the late John Ward. The broadcasting icon died Wednesday at the age of 88 following a lengthy illness. The event will celebrate his Hall of Fame career behind the microphone and feature multiple never-before-seen — or heard — video and audio clips of Ward.
