Utah Radio Station Kcpw President Steps Down

Seven years after founding the nonprofit that runs KCPW, Ed Sweeney is signing off. The president and CEO officially resigned at a July 12 board meeting to help the station’s struggling finances. “It got to the point where we had really good staff, and I realized it doesn’t make any economic sense to have a president/CEO, so I stepped aside,” said Sweeney, 63.
