Utica Zoo Unveils Master Plan For Next Decade

Zoo officials have unveiled a multimillion-dollar master plan aimed at transforming the 102-year-old institution into a premier regional destination. Plans for the 80-acre property in central New York include an Asian temple that overlooks the city, and African, Adirondack and rain forest-themed habitats housing everything from giraffes to black bears to gorillas.
