Vancouver’s Newest Councilor Sworn In

New Vancouver City Councilor Laurie Lebowsky is sworn in Monday. She was appointed Feb. 5 out of a group of 56 applicants to fill the vacancy created when candidate Scott Campbell died before being elected in November. With 24 years of experience as a county planner, Lebowsky said, she understands the processes necessary to allow local government to function.
