NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — VCU forward Terry Larrier says he's transferring to UConn. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 6.6 points in 18.5 minutes per game as a freshman last season. His decision comes more than a month after coach Shaka Smart left VCU for Texas. Larrier tells the New Haven Register that is chose to move to UConn because he has a good relationship with coach Kevin Ollie and can't wait to play for him. UConn says it can't comment on any recruit until he is enrolled in the school or at least has signed a financial aid agreement. Larrier will have to sit out a season before playing for the Huskies.
