Oath’s brand value is now worth just $200 million. Verizon paid a combined $8.9 billion for Yahoo and AOL (the main parts of Oath). Oath is the name that Verizon gave to various media properties it acquired, including Yahoo in 2017 for $4.5 billion and AOL in 2015 for $4.4 billion.
