Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputies were involved in a shooting — and someone was taken to a hospital — on Wednesday, but officials would not say whether that person was shot. Officials have not said what led to the shooting, which they only would characterize as an “officer-involved shooting.” Just after 4 p.m., the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office warned on social media about a heavy police presence in the 4500 block of South Himalaya Circle, just south of Aurora and east of Quincy Reservoir. One victim was taken to the hospital, but the sheriff’s office could not immediately confirm the nature of their injuries, spokesperson Ginger Delgado said.
