Vintage Wwii Fighter Plane Crashes In Hudson River; Pilot Survives

The pilot of a vintage World War II P-47 airplane that was reported down in the Hudson River on Friday night was pulled to safety with minor injuries and taken to a hospital, the New Jersey State Police reported. The plane went down about two miles south of the George Washington Bridge, the FAA said.
