The Oak Forest, La., senior quarterback scored two second-half touchdowns on runs of 55 and 57 yards to lead his team to a 37-12 win against Starkville Academy in the MAIS Class AAA, Division II state championship game at Mississippi College’s Robinson-Hale Stadium. Hasson, who rushed for 155 yards on 10 carries, sprinted 57 yards on an option keeper on the third play of the third quarter to break a 6-6 halftime tie. “It was an option to the strong side,” he said.
