GREENEVILLE — A Greeneville woman who siphoned more than $100,000 from area nonprofits will serve 16 months in prison. The sentence against Gayle Sicard Shapiro Green, 65, was handed down on Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Greeneville. She previously served as treasurer for the Greater Kingsport Kennel Club and the Tennessee Basketry Association.
