The state Military Heroes Fund is looking to recruit volunteers willing to spend a lunch hour today to help remove and pack away 37,251 Memorial Day flags planted across Boston Common.Organizers had planned to dismantle the flag garden last night; however, due to the rainfall, they delayed the removal until 12:30 p.m.
