Volunteers Sought For W.va. Spring Highway Cleanup

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The state Department of Environmental Protection is accepting registrations for the Adopt-A-Highway Spring Statewide Cleanup. Officials say volunteers have until April 10 to register for the event that takes place on April 25. The event is co-sponsored by the DEP and the state Division of Highways, the Adopt-A-Highway.Individuals, families, churches, businesses, schools, civic organizations, government agencies and communities can register to pick up trash on almost any state-maintained road, back road, or main route.
