Voters Say Local Boards, Not Legislature Should Decide How To Spend State Aid In Schools

?Seventy-five percent of Michigan voters prefer that local school boards determine where to spend money in their schools, rather than have millions in state aid earmarked by the Legislature for specific programs or uses, according to a study done by a Chicago company commissioned by a group of state education organizations.
