Watch Nasa Test Its Flying Saucer Tomorrow

You can watch NASA conduct a "spin table test" on its flying saucer-shaped Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator (LDSD) vehicle tomorrow at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. Those interested can view the livestream on March 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PDT and submit questions to LDSD team members via the livestream’s chat box or Twitter using the #AskNASA hashtag. The upcoming LDSD event is to demonstrate how the craft will spin as it decelerates during the descent and help discern if the technology can be used to safely deliver humans to Mars’ surface in future missions to the Red Planet.
