David Furlong, 29, of Waterford Township, spends his days teaching math and coaching football at a private school in Oakland County, but in his downtime, he participates in national CrossFit competitions, recently placing in the Top 5 and Top 8 of competitors.Furlong has been training in CrossFit for two years, competing for almost as long.
