WAYNESBORO — Wayne County coaches, players and fans celebrated on the field, taking pictures and soaking it all in Friday night. After losing the region title to Burke County the previous two seasons, the Yellow Jackets finally broke through with a 23-14 victory. Wayne County endured a tough non-region schedule, but it evened its record at 5-5, with a 4-0 region mark.
