A teenage girl was seriously burned Saturday night when an illegal firework misfired and landed in her lap as she watched a neighborhood Independence Day celebration in Fallston, Md.The 15-year-old girl was sitting about 25 feet away from where state officials say Jeffrey S. Hoffmann was setting off ground and aerial fireworks in front of his home on Brickhouse Lane in Harford County.
