'we Can Do Better Than This': Republicans Condemn Oregon's $21.4 Million Veterans Budget

The Oregon House passed a $21.4 million budget for the Department of Veterans Affairs on Monday, despite objections from Republicans who said the bill included less money than voters expected when they passed Measure 96 last fall. The measure was the most popular on the November ballot, winning 84 percent to 16 percent.
