Weinstein Co.’s ‘macbeth’ Gets Exclusive Amazon Deal

The Michael Fassbender-Marion Cotillard starrer “Macbeth” will stream exclusively on Amazon soon after its December theatrical release. The Weinstein Co. has not set the exact release date on Amazon for “Macbeth.” TWC bought North American rights in 2013 from StudioCanal. Fassbender stars as the power-hungry Scot with Cotillard playing Lady Macbeth.
