By Brandy McDonnellToday's featured event:The Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch Drive, is opening the new exhibit “Postwar Abstraction: Variations” - celebrating the museum’s excellent collection of postwar abstract art through 31 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints - today on the museum’s third floor.The original exhibition, curated by Roja Najafi, spans from 1952 to 1996 and includes popular works by Sam Francis, Ellsworth Kelly, Paul Reed, Gene Davis, Howard Mehring and Leon Polk Smith, among others, according to a news release.
